THE PERSON BEHIND THE WORK.I'm Ehab Allababidi, a Chicago-based founder and engineer running a write-in campaign for mayor of Chicago. My work brings together artificial intelligence, private computing infrastructure, legal research, and public accountability.
I founded DarkDeck to build specialized AI workspaces around the information people actually need to make decisions. That work has made me exacting about evidence, review, and who remains responsible when technology enters the process.
My infrastructure work has also put me close to the foundations: networks, servers, storage, security, and the systems people depend on every day. Building means understanding the whole system, finding the point of failure, and staying with the problem until the thing works.
As a self-represented litigant, I've researched legal authorities, written motions, organized source records, and pursued review in state and federal courts. My public record includes privacy litigation, a Supreme Court petition, and a motion that led a federal court to correct parts of its judgment.
The documents are here to read. Each matter has its own history, its own rulings, and its own source material. I believe people should be able to inspect the work behind a public claim.
Chicago deserves public services that people can use, contracts they can inspect, technology they can question, and a government that follows through. My campaign is built around five priorities: open government, reliable services, digital rights, local opportunity, and neighborhood accountability.
I'm running as a write-in candidate: no party slate, no machine, and no name printed on the ballot. If you want a different kind of mayor, you'll write my name yourself on February 23, 2027. I'm asking you to.
